WORCESTER-Janine M. LeBlanc, 59, of Worcester passed away Monday, March 26, 2012 in the Ichabod Washburn Home, surrounded by her family.
She leaves three sisters, Carol A. LeBlanc of Shrewsbury, Francine D. Agbay and her husband Al of Shrewsbury and Lisette A. Foley and her husband Mark of York Haven, PA; two brothers, Joseph F. LeBlanc and his wife Joyce of W. Millbury and Philip R. LeBlanc and his wife Debra of N. Grosvenordale, CT. She also leaves nieces and nephews, Jonathan, Amy, Michael, Peter, Christopher, Marc, Joseph, Brendan, Christine, Noelle, Jacques, Gabrielle and Frances.
Janine was born in Worcester, daughter of the late Dr. Joseph J. LeBlanc and Frances H. (Johnson) LeBlanc and lived her entire life here. She graduated from Notre Dame Academy and Worcester City School of Nursing in 1979. She spent time in the Emergency Room at Worcester City Hospital until it closed and then transferred to the Emergency Room at U-Mass when the doors opened. She also worked in the Pediatric Clinic, retiring in 2007.
The funeral will be held on Thursday, March 29 from CALLAHAN & FAY BROTHERS FUNERAL HOME, 61 Myrtle Street, with a Mass at 10:00 AM at St. John’s Church, 40 Temple Street. Burial will follow in West Millbury Cemetery. Visiting hours are Wednesday, March 28 from 5-8 PM at the funeral home.
